Discover the city
Plombières-les-Bains is nicknamed the city of a thousand balconies. This spa town is steeped in history, the use of its water dates back to Roman times. A discovery trail is signposted from the Tivoli park (avenue des Etats-Unis). This itinerary will take you through the main street of the town and up to the heights.
Imperial Park and its surroundings
The park designed for Napoleon III invites you to take a walk and relax. The banks of the pond and the shade of the majestic trees are particularly pleasant. Nearby is the casino built in the old train station. The restaurant is decorated in the style of a platform and a railway carriage. On the same site, the miniature golf course, the swimming pool, the fitness trail and the miniature park offer a choice of outdoor activities.
The thermal baths
The thermal waters of Plombières are recognized for their virtues in the treatment of digestive disorders and rheumatism. The cures run from March to November. For those who simply wish to enjoy the waters of Plombières outside of the thermal cures, the Roman balneo center (also called Calodaé) is open all year round. It also allows you to discover the Roman steam room called "l'enfer" (hell), the Stanislas bath, the Jutier gallery and the Roman bath.
